I originally bought a very basic Singer sewing machine from Target about two years ago because I wanted to begin quilting.

I ordered my new sewing machine online, and won't get it until the 27th of this month, which seems like forever!!! Of course I will show pics of the new, awesome machine, when it arrives!

Congrats on the new sewing machine. I have two that I use. One is an old one that I use for sewing heavier materials. The other I use for my good cottons. It's good to keep your old machine for a backup.

Thanks! It feels like a big step, but can't wait for all the things I will be able to do with the new machine! I am definitely keeping the old machine, even if really its just for nostalgia!
